Category: Perennial Ht: 3'-4' Spread: Clump forming Color: White & Pink Bloom Period: Early Summer Light: Part Shade Soil: Moist Well Drained Soil Large dramatic dark green glossy leaves that are boldly toothed and lobed grow up in late winter/early spring. White flowers surrounded by pink/purple bracts follow, clustered on spikes. Usually goes dormant in summer only to re-emerge in fall. Needs protection from hot sun in a sheltered location. Spreads by underground rhizomes. |
