Use fresh or dry in dark room. Peel lower part of stalks, chop fine & pound to release flavor for stir fry, fish or poultry sauces. Flavor fish stock & curries w/fibrous leaf blades. Remove before serving. Delicious iced tea. Hair wash to promote shine. Subtropical grass which grows in the form of spreading clumps. Leaves reach 4-6 ft high.
