This is the white flowered variety of borage from seed from the White Garden at Sissinghurst Castle in England. This is a annual that reseeds easily. But keep it separated from the blue variety because they could cross pollinate. Known as a "happiness" herb, it has a reputation for dispelling depression or sadness. The edible flowers make a lovely addition to salads or cold teas, imparting a light cucumber-like flavor. Young leaves can be used as a pot herb or in tea.
