Queens of the scented herb garden. The Munstead variety is a dwarf English Lavender. Stems are pubescent, square, and woody at the base; narrow, grey-green leaves. Deep lavender flowers are produced several weeks earlier than other varieties. Use fresh leaves & other herbs to flavor strong game meats & fowl. Use fresh flowers to make perfumes. Sprigs make beautiful dry arrangements or fresh bouquets. Use to make sweet-smelling wreaths & potpourri.
