| Beautiful background plant w/ large fuzzy leaves resembles its common name. Wooly hairs cover 3-6" silvery-white leaves. Thick flower stalks reach 12-18 inches tall early summer & are covered with whorls of beautiful, small purple flowers. Once known for medicinal properties, now an ornamental. Some people keep the flowers trimmed off to favor the exotic foliage. Others use the flowers in dried arrangements. Perhaps Lamb's Ear best use is as an attractive groundcover. How To Grow: To establish, plant about 12 to 15 inches apart in full sun in well-drained soil. Lamb's Ear will also tolerate partial shade.
